An Adventure of 700 km and 16,000 Meters of Elevation with the Jëuf Pro Carbon Line: The Story of a Cyclist Determined to Push His Limits.
"Participating in ultra-endurance gravel races is never as expected, and I learned this the hard way. The Gran Guanche Audax is an unsupported gravel race of 700 km with over 16,000 m of elevation across the Canary Islands. I started strong in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, but hit a wall in Gran Canaria."
Riccardo decided to share his experience at the Gran Guanche Audax with us. He embarked on his adventure across the Canary Islands wearing Jëuf Pro Carbon jerseys and the Jëuf Pro Race Power bib shorts.
"Despite holding a solid position, some health issues forced me to slow down the Audax pace, the fastest possible considering the ferry options. Dropping out hurts, no doubt about it. But that’s racing, right? Pushing limits, chasing top positions, and giving your all. These moments shape you into a better cyclist, and that feeling? I absolutely love it."
Feedback from an athlete is crucial for us. Knowing that the Jëuf bib shorts fully met his needs during the many hours in the saddle makes us proud.
Thank you, Ric. See you at the next story to tell.
