The team arrived in the Langhe after a long journey from the Dolomites, bringing along enthusiasm and technical equipment. At the hotel, the road bikes were brought to the room for final tweaks: tires were inflated, front lights and electronic shifters charged, and mounts for Garmin and action cameras installed. The cyclists adjusted pedals, cleats, and selected their winter technical clothing, including windproof jackets and thermal underwear, essential to tackle the cold. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation for the next day.
Sunrise, Cold, and the Magic of the Langhe
At dawn, still under a starry sky, the team set off to face the harsh winter temperatures of the hills. The route, illuminated by the morning light, offered a unique spectacle, with a breathtaking sunrise that made every effort worthwhile. Equipped with winter gloves and thermal cycling gear, the cyclists tackled climbs and descents while the photographer and videographer worked to capture action shots and evocative landscapes.
